Dermive Oil-Free is made for oily, combination, and acne-prone skin, but closed comedones can happen if the product is over-applied, not cleansed properly, or layered with heavy makeup/sunscreen. Use a small amount and cleanse well at night.

Is Dermive Oil-Free Moisturizer suitable for acne-prone skin?

Yes. Dermive Oil-Free is designed for oily, combination, and acne-prone skin. While every skin reacts differently, it provides lightweight hydration without the heavy feel of traditional moisturizers.

Why does my skin sometimes feel greasy even though it's oil-free?

Oil-free doesn't mean matte. Hydrating ingredients and SPF can leave a slight dewy finish, especially in humid weather or when too much product is applied. Use a pea-sized amount for best results.

Does Dermive Oil-Free replace sunscreen?

Not completely. The built-in SPF offers everyday protection, but if you're spending extended time outdoors, we recommend applying a dedicated broad-spectrum sunscreen on top.

Can I use Dermive Oil-Free Moisturizer at night?

Yes. It can be used both morning and night. However, if you prefer a moisturizer without SPF for your nighttime routine, our SPF-free Fragrance-Free version is a great alternative.

Will it work under makeup?

Absolutely. Allow the moisturizer to absorb for 2-3 minutes before applying makeup. Using the right amount helps create a smoother, more even base.
